The Teraco Data Centre project required a highly thermally insulated partitioning system to separate temperature-controlled spaces on the plenum level. Aertec AAC was specified for its exceptional thermal mass properties and ability to provide acoustic control in a technically demanding industrial environment.
Data centres present unique walling challenges: the partitioning must maintain stable temperature differentials between spaces, provide acoustic attenuation, and resist the moisture conditions that can develop in server room environments. Aertec AAC's thermal performance, non-hygroscopic properties, and structural stability made it the ideal specification for this application.
The project demonstrates Aertec AAC's growing adoption in technically demanding industrial applications where conventional masonry and lightweight partition systems cannot meet the performance requirements.
