At Monticello Wine Farm in Stellenbosch, a luxurious private residence was constructed using Aertec AAC blocks as the primary walling material. The client and architect required a building material capable of delivering the precision finish and thermal comfort expected in a high-end wine farm residence.
Aertec AAC blocks provided the ideal solution: lightweight blocks that reduce structural loads, excellent thermal mass for temperature regulation in the Stellenbosch climate, and a dimensionally accurate surface that takes a premium plaster finish. The material's acoustic performance was also a key benefit for a private residence in a working wine farm environment.
