Aertec, together with Geberit, conducted a comprehensive load test on the Geberit Kombifix Pre-wall solution installed on Aertec AAC blocks. The test was conducted to confirm the compatibility and structural performance of the combined system for sanitary pre-wall installations — an increasingly popular solution in contemporary bathroom design.
The Kombifix pre-wall system allows concealed cisterns, washbasins, and other sanitary ware to be mounted directly onto the walling structure without visible fixing hardware. The load test confirmed that Aertec AAC provides a structurally sound substrate for the Kombifix system across all standard sanitary ware loads.
The successful test result enables specifiers and contractors to confidently specify the Geberit Kombifix system on Aertec AAC walls, opening up premium bathroom design possibilities for AAC-built residential and commercial projects.
