NC3 completes the three-project NC apartment series, all specified with Aertec AAC by the same experienced developer. The consistency of specification across all three projects enabled the developer to benefit from contractor learning and materials procurement efficiency, contributing to progressive cost reductions across the series.
The NC3 development also trialled the use of Aertec lintels for all door and window openings, further simplifying the construction process and eliminating the need for on-site lintel fabrication. The pre-cast reinforced AAC lintels were delivered according to schedule and installed without issue.
The NC series represents one of the strongest endorsements of the full Aertec system — blocks, mortar, lintels, and plaster — from a major Cape Town residential developer.
