The Galleria Cavendish Square

The tenant renovation required a new floor layout with the inclusion of battery storage on the existing slab. All the walls required to be ultra-lightweight but yet as robust as a conventional brick wall as specified by the Engineer. The renovation was run on a tight budget with a very tight timeline to completion. Aertec’s AAC material class 400kg/m3 and 600kg/m3 was specified in strategic areas of the renovation due to the sensitive loading constraints on the existing slab. Due to the dimensional accuracy of Aertec’s AAC ‘Precision Blocks’ it allowed for the tiles to be applied directly to the AAC wall without the requirement of plaster. This specific tile application, saved a lot of weight and cost by omitting the plaster trade. All other walls were skimmed using Aertec’s CEM-SKIM 100.
