Durban CBD Refurbishment

This existing building situated in the heart of Durban CBD, was converted into residential apartments and needed to utilize innovative building materials which are lightweight and offer superior thermal, acoustic and fire resistance properties. Aertec AAC Lightweight blocks were perfectly suited for the 1000m2 requirement of the project, as not only tactile and physical properties were high on the priority list, but also speed of building, waste reduction and reduced costs in rendering, due to the accuracy of the Aertec AAC blocks.
